News 12 is getting a sneak peek at the Nintendo Switch 2 that is set to come out June 5.
At the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience, consumers played the new console which offers a bigger screen. When you dock the Switch 2, it gives gamers a 4K experience.
The retail price is $449.99 and it is set to come out on June 5. But preorders are delayed as Nintendo assess the impact of tariffs.
The controllers are magnetic now and can also be used as a mouse feature.
Another difference, there is a "C" button on the system – the chat button which allows players to have a social experience.
The Switch 2 will be backwards compatible, meaning gamers will be able to play most Nintendo Switch games on the new console.
