A Newburgh Elementary School teacher is facing drug charges after she was allegedly found with 200 bags of heroin.
Jennifer Krom, 39, was arrested earlier this month in Ulster County along with 29-year-old wanted fugitive Jason Pease.
The pair were arrested after an investigation into drug sales.
Pease is being held on bail and Krom was released on an appearance ticket.
Newburgh Superintendent Roberto Padilla tells News 12 that the district is taking every step to ensure student safety and that Krom is on administrative leave.
