Newburgh police: Man wanted in connection to Walden Savings Bank robbery

Employees say the man entered the bank just after noon, went directly to the teller and passed a note demanding money.

Police in Newburgh are on the hunt for a man who they say robbed the Walden Savings Bank on Saturday.
Officers say they responded to the bank minutes after the suspect fled the area on foot.
Employees say the man entered the bank just after noon, went directly to the teller and passed a note demanding money.
An undisclosed amount of money was given to the man before he immediately left the bank.
Officials say the man is described as being in his late 30s, possibly Middle Eastern, wearing a white-tan sweatshirt, jeans, a black medical face mask, and a blue baseball cap.
