A Newburgh man will spend 11 years in prison for robbing a gas station at gunpoint.
Prosecutors say that in July 2023, 19-year-old Tyreek Shelby cut the power to a gas station and then walked in with a rifle. He forcibly stole money, lotto tickets, and cigarettes.
Shelby was sentenced Thursday in Orange County.
