The City of Newburgh held its 2024 police department awards ceremony at the SUNY Orange County Community College.
The ceremony recognized police service in the community that goes above and beyond the call of duty.
City Council members, Newburgh Mayor Torrance Harvey, Rep. Pat Ryan and the Orange County sheriff were all in attendance.
Dozens of department members were awarded for excellent police duty, unit citation, notorious duty, bronze star, years of continuous service and distinguished service.
