Parents who lost their children to gun violence called for change Sunday with a protest at City Hall.

Protesters say the issue of gun violence has been amplified by the deaths of several teenagers over the past few weeks - three of which who were only 16 years old.

City councilmembers gathered in front of City Hall several days ago to submit a letter asking Gov. Kathy Hochul to reform state laws to keep individuals found with illegal guns off the streets.
