A Yonkers school underwent a facelift and is now reopened as a new high school that supplies some cutting edge, high-tech teaching tools.
The facility used to be the Museum Middle School, but has been revamped and is now the new Riverside High School. The school offers a technical program with a hands-on approach for the 800 students who are attending. There is a virtual lab where students can learn how to program a robot.
Currently, there are seventh-graders who will finish out their high school years at the school. Riverside has partners in the business community and universities so students will have other opportunities during their high school careers. To view more on the school, go to channel 612 on your iO digital cable box and click on iO Extra.
