There's a new top cop in the village of Mount Kisco.
Sgt. Joseph Spinelli has been appointed by the Mount Kisco Village Board as the new police chief.
The position has been vacant for two years after the last chief retired.
Chief Spinelli's appointment comes as Mount Kisco and Westchester County talk over whether to consolidate departments.
