Police have released a new angle of surveillance video that captured the violent assault of a gas station attendant in Valley Cottage
Paulie Kunz, a worker at the gas station, says he was watching a football game Saturday when two masked robbers, one brandishing a rifle, demanded money.
Kunz, who says he is almost 60 years old, has lung problems and a paralyzed foot, refused to hand over money and wrestled down the gunman before both men fled on foot.
Previous video, shot inside, showed Kunz getting pulled out of the gas station. The new video, shot outdoors, shows Kunz being dragged, kicked, and punched. Police are searching for two suspects who appear to be black men in their 20s.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Clarkstown police at 845-639-5800.
