3ds agoTown of Yorktown Supervisor Tom Diana announced on Friday a new senior center is coming to the area.
The new facility would be located at the Beaveridge Apartments.
The 4,000-square-foot building is part of an effort to preserve and enhance affordable senior housing at the building. The center will also include a 2,000-square-foot community room for senior events and town recreation department offices.
The date of construction for the center is undetermined.
