Revelers in New Rochelle lined up along North Avenue for the 60th annual Thanksgiving Parade on Saturday.
The parade was hosted by the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce. Organizers said it is the second largest Thanksgiving parade in the state, featuring 102 marching groups, nine floats, and eight giant balloons.
New Rochelle High School football star and Super Bowl champion Ray Rice served as this year's grand marshal.
"It's really an honor to come back, be with my family, be with my friends and just be with the community," Rice said. "I was one of those kids that came from the village, that raised a child and I'm happy to just come back as one of those adults now [who is] able to share my experiences."
