A New Rochelle teen with dreams of becoming a surgeon came to the aid of health care workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Milan Acosta, 15, started a GoFundMe campaign called Operation Feed a Hero.
All the money raised is used to order food from local restaurants, which then deliver the meals to area hospitals.
A pizzeria in White Plains delivered dozens of boxes of pizzas and salads to doctors and nurses at White Plains Hospital Monday.
Operation Feed a Hero's GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $6,000.
