375ds agoStudents were gearing up for back to school Saturday in New Rochelle, with the Summer Sendoff at Lincoln Park.
This was the first return of the event since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The main purpose is to build fellowship and to support our community and support the kids of our community, to encourage them and let them know that together we have a great future," said Minister Mark McLean of Generations Church.
The event featured food, games, live music and a giveaway.
Many of the items for the giveaway were donated from local businesses of the area.
