The district plans to launch an "anonymous alert app" that would allow students to report bullying or brewing tensions to school officials.
"I think it's an efficient way to get information from the students to administrators," says senior Zoe Jimenez.
"If someone were at Dunkin' Donuts and they saw this happen they could have sent it on the app and administrators could have known right away," Jimenez says.
The school board will hear a presentation on the proposed app and take it up for discussion during a meeting on Tuesday.
