A new three-year contract has been reached between the New Rochelle School District and the city's teachers union.
The union has been without a contract since last July.
They held a number of protests during that time, including one last January.
Details of the contract were not released.
In a statement, both sides said they worked hard to deliver an agreement that is fair and equitable to the union and fiscally responsible to taxpayers while maintaining the district's outstanding educational programming.
The agreement is contingent on voter approval of the district's budget next week, and it must be ratified by the school board and union membership.
