Transportation officials in New Rochelle say they're prepared for the nor'easter expected to hit the region this weekend.
So do many residents.
"Bring it on!" says Evan Fieldale. "It's winter. Then it gets hot in the summer, and we'll be wishing it was cold."
Fieldale's son, Connor, is excited too.
"I can go sledding and snowboarding and made a snow fort," he explains.
But officials are already set to go out salting the roads and prepping plows to deploy when the Saturday storm strikes.
New Rochelle City Manager Chuck Strome says too much snow puts the city at risk of high tide flooding.
As a precaution, all boats have been brought ashore as the harbor master monitors the seafront.
