A New Rochelle-based real estate broker is paying the price for housing discrimination.

According to the State Attorney General's office, Pasquale Marciano and his companies refused to rent apartments to investigators with housing vouchers.

Marciano has reached an agreement to place nine tenants using Section 8 or other government housing subsidies in units that he owns.

He now owes the state $40,000.

Marciano owns 13 multifamily rental properties throughout New Rochelle with a total of 76 units.

News 12 reached out to Marciano for comment but has not heard back.
