The New Rochelle city manager said Thursday that almost $79 million will be invested in capital projects for the next seven years.

The projects include includes sewer, dam and road repairs, park improvements and replacing the Hudson Marina parking structure in 2024.

The city is also working on a 10-year flood mitigation program.

Officials also want to reopen the Section 8 Housing Choice voucher program.

New Rochelle residents can also expect more events like the Lincoln Park Ice Rink, Taste of Union Avenue, and the International Jazz Festival.

Also, 500 youth jobs are planning to open up to help at those events.

Seniors will also have resources, like pop-locations, to meet with city leaders.
