A man is recovering after being slashed in the face with a scalpel during a fight at a gas station near Main Street and Woodland Avenue in New Rochelle on Monday morning, police said.
The incident involved three men and occurred around 3:30 a.m.
The victim, who needed stitches, was walking home when the altercation broke out.
Authorities arrested 29-year-old Tyrone Brown from The Bronx, charging him with second-degree assault.
Police noted a second arrest may follow as the investigation continues.
