The City School District of New Rochelle has announced its decision not to proceed with changes to elementary school start times, citing feedback from various stakeholders.
After considering input from the board of education, trustees, and members of the community, the district has opted to abandon the proposal. Many expressed concerns that altering start times could disrupt child care arrangements and strain household budgets.
In a statement issued by Superintendent Dr. Corey W. Reynolds, he took full ownership of any anxiety or concern caused by the proposal.
