In this unprecedented year, a high school senior from New Rochelle has made a rare and remarkable accomplishment.

Rachel Rivera has been accepted to 17 colleges, including five Ivy Leagues.

She'll be a first-generation college student, and she's gotten full rides to almost every school.

She's now deciding between Stanford and Yale. She plans to study biomolecular science.

Rivera eventually hopes to be a cardiologist. She says she's inspired by how doctors have been so essential during the pandemic.
