Movie-goers filed back into a New Rochelle theater Friday afternoon after a brief evacuation.

Officials say earlier a couple of alarms went off inside the theater and folks were told to evacuate.

New Rochelle Fire Department Chief says every so often the alarms in the movie theater glitch. He says everyone inside was moved into the lobby of the building because of the rain.

Officials say firefighters entered the building to check if the area was safe and secure.

They say everything is back to normal.
