A new head start preschool program will be coming to Westchester County.

The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester will run the free early childhood program.

The program is for children ages 3 to 5 from eligible low-income families.

Students will learn physical education, literacy, music and more to get ready for kindergarten.

The kids will also get swimming lessons and free meals.

The office of head start will coordinate screenings for those who apply.
