A groundbreaking ceremony took place in Hawthorne on Thursday to welcome a new special event space.
The new owner says the renovated venue, which used to be the Gasho of Japan hibachi restaurant, will boast state-of-the-art amenities.
"We have a beautiful koi pond that's been here for many, many years. We're going to have the cabanas, the tiki bars. We're going to have a beautiful, cocktail space, which you're not going to see in a lot of venues," said Michael Pasqualini, president of Le Setai Realty.
The space is slated to open in fall of 2025.
