yesterdayA New City couple were charged with murder in connection to the discovery of a body that was found in a Clarkstown home's crawlspace.
The slain homeowner's 31-year-old grandson and 26-year-old JoAnn Haughey now face second-degree murder and burglary charges.
Authorities say the murder happened last January.
Between then and when the body was found last March, the couple allegedly stole property from the victim.
The arrests followed an investigation by the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau and the Rockland County D.A'S Office.
