New Castle man charged with attempted rape of a child

The Westchester District Attorney's Office says Dustin Layme, 22, allegedly traveled to a Greenburgh hotel to meet who he believed to be the child he met online.

A New Castle man was arrested following an undercover operation targeting online child sex predators. 
The Westchester District Attorney's Office says Dustin Layme, 22, allegedly traveled to a Greenburgh hotel to meet who he believed to be the child he met online. 
Police say he had a series of sexually explicit conversations with an undercover law enforcement agent prior to the meeting. 
Layme is being held at Westchester County Jail on charges including attempted rape and attempted sexual abuse.
