Some parents protested against a new charter school outside P.S. 160 in Co-op City Friday.
Many parents are mixed on the idea of a charter school moving into the building in September. Those for the school feel it gives students more options to succeed in the future.
However, those protesting against the move say a charter school is meant for underperforming areas, which is not the case at P.S. 160.
The Board of Education says the school is being moved to utilize space, not because of poor performance.
