A new Apple TV+ series called "Severance" catches a glimpse of life in Beacon following filming for two days.
The Dutchess County town is still buzzing after some big names in Hollywood filmed a brand-new series.
Residents say they caught a glimpse of action including Ben Stiller, the show’s director and producer.
The production team brought along snow for aesthetic purposes, as well as old-school cars.
Brenda Murnane’s business, Beacon Bubble & Bath, may be spotted in the series as "Swab Girl."
“I have 2 clawfoot tubs in the windows…they staged the windows great,” says Murnane. “Business was fine, I was open while they were here working.”
Sukhothai restaurant owner Ray Rabenda tells News 12 that his restaurant may appear in a few scenes, too.
“After the product comes out, then we can talk more about it,” says Rabenda.
Regulars like Lydia, of Orange County, believe the show’s production will bring business back into the restaurant industry.
“Restaurants need help in the worst way, and I think this is fantastic,” says Lydia. “We've come here for many years; we love this restaurant.”
The movie "Nobody’s Fool" featuring Paul Newman was filmed in town in the 1990s.
