Rockland County has unveiled a new interactive application to help residents prepare for possible emergencies at the Indian Point nuclear power plant.
The app helps you find emergency escape routes and emergency protocols for Rockland locations within a 10-mile radius of the Buchanan power plant.
The application accommodates desktop computers and mobile devices, and can be found at RocklandIPReady.com.
The app pinpoints a user's location through the device's global-positioning system or by typing in an address.
