Neighbors of Anthony and Heather Trapp are in shock after an apparent murder-suicide that came to its tragic conclusion in Orange County.
Officials in New Jersey say 39-year-old Anthony Trapp stabbed and killed his estranged wife, 37-year-old Heather Trapp, at their home in Old Bridge Township, N.J., before taking his two young daughters to the Bear Mountain Bridge Motel and committing suicide.
"It's sad, it really is," says neighbor Dennis Adornato. "You can't even think about it, and you have kids too."
Officials say the two children were unharmed and are in the care of relatives.
The cause of death for Anthony Trapp will be determined through autopsy, according to investigators.
