The next shipments of both Rockland-based Pfizer and Moderna's vaccines are on the way.
Officials with Operation Warp Speed say they've allocated approximately 2 million more doses of the Pfizer vaccine as well as 5.9 million doses of the Moderna vaccine, which will be sent to more than 3,500 sites.
Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar is also reminding the public that there are two antibody treatments available to help prevent those with severe symptoms from requiring hospital care. "We have allocated over 400,000 treatment courses to all states and territories with 250,000 plus courses delivered and many states have told us that they still have a lot of product available."
Azar is advising the public to talk to health care providers about whether you qualify for those treatments.
