NBA legend Tony Allen held an event in Yonkers Tuesday where he spoke to Calcagno Homes youth about non-violence and the importance of school.
The 2008 NBA champ, who was on the All-Defensive First Team three times, signed some autographs and took some photos with some fans and even answered some questions.
“I come from this type of environment in Chicago,” Allen said. “And what is the opportunity to come and, you know, spread my wisdom, and give them some type of motivation to keep going? I always take advantage of that, man.”
The event took place at the Calcagno Homes Gymnasium.
