A Yonkers woman is putting her faith above coincidence.

Michelle Bell believes a mysterious bird that keeps returning to her home could actually be a "sign from above."

Bell says the all-white bird arrived to her apartment the Friday before Mother's Day and won't leave her side. She believes the bird is a messenger from her son Nickie, who died of cancer in 2005 at the age of 18. "He's protecting me. He's bringing me comfort and letting me know it's going to be OK, mom."

Bell named the bird "Skipper," which was her son's nickname.

Nickie would have turned 26 on June 20.
