The annual Mulchfest has returned to provide Bronx residents with an alternative way to dispose of their Christmas trees.
Bronx residents can bring their trees to Bissell Volunteer Gardens on Baychester Avenue or Brook Park on Brook Avenue to be recycled into mulch. River Playground on 180th Street and Youth Village Playground on Boston Road are also chipping sites.
There are drop-off locations at Saint James Park and Van Cortlandt Park for Bronx residents who want to recycle their trees but don't want mulch.
