The valedictorian at Mount Vernon STEAM Academy has accepted a full scholarship to Harvard.

Efua Forson will be attending in the fall. She plans to major in neuroscience with a minor in African American studies or Spanish.

Her goal is to eventually become a physician.

She was also awarded full scholarships to several other schools including Johns Hopkins, Duke and Notre Dame.
