Mount Vernon police say the businessman who was fatally shot in his car was targeted.

According to police, 47-year-old Glenn Brown was gunned down in his car Friday morning on Aetna Place, only 100 yards from his home. They say Brown was on his way to meet his accountant when he was murdered. Brown was in construction and had real estate holdings. Police are looking into his business dealings for clues.
