Police say they received on call on Thursday morning reporting a man threatening a victim with a knife.
Upon arrival, officers located 20-year-old Reynard Smith III with a large kitchen knife.
After further investigation, police determined he was also the suspect in the earlier call and the suspect in a series of other knife-related incidents.
Smith was charged in connection to four incidents from April 26, May 1, May 2 and May 4.
