Mount Vernon Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard was at the Grace Baptist Church this morning to get her COVID-19 vaccine.

199ds agoMount Vernon Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard was at the Grace Baptist Church this morning to get her COVID-19 vaccine.
She said it was easy and didn't hurt. "Not painful at all. They told me to expect a little soreness in my arm, and if I have flu-like symptoms, mild, just take a Tylenol, and that's simple."
Patterson-Howard received the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, which means she is now fully vaccinated against the virus.
The pop-up site at the Grace Baptist Church will be giving shots to New Yorkers today through 5 p.m.
