A Mount Vernon man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for a deadly stabbing last year.
Rasheed Binns, 42, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter last August.
The district attorney's office says he was sentenced Thursday in Westchester County Court.Authorities say an argument led to Binns stabbing 56-year-old Robert Higgins, of New Rochelle.
Officials say it happened inside a taxi stand that Higgins' brother owned.
Binns' fiancee, 39-year-old Leah Guy, of Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to attempted hindering prosecution in the second-degree last August and was sentenced to a conditional discharge that same day.
