Mount Vernon has launched its inaugural grants program aimed at offering assistance to small businesses striving to recover from the pandemic.

To qualify for the grant, individuals must own a small business or property with ground floor commercial space.

However, the city has clarified that faith-based organizations, schools, and universities are not eligible for the program.
