Mount Vernon High School recently announced two seniors that are taking top honors at the school.

Daren Lu was elected as its valedictorian and Lesley Iyamu as its salutatorian. 

Lu has a 102.89 GPA, and is also the secretary of the school’s National Honor Society. 

Iyamu has a 98.45 GPA., and was the president of the National Honor Society this year. She was also president of her class from ninth to eleventh-grade. She also founded the Etymology club.
