A county office building in Mount Vernon was named after late Westchester political leader Reginald Lafayette on Friday.
Lafayette, who died last year, was a longtime Board of Elections Commissioner and served as County Democratic Chairman among many other positions.
Lafayette is now the first Black person to have a county-owned building named after him.
