Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon offered home-cooked grab-and-go meals on Christmas Day.

The home-cooked meals consisted of ham, chicken, rice, vegetables and desserts. They were offered to anyone who entered the door.

The dinners were prepared by a cook and paid for from a special fund.

The generous portions were served up by volunteers.
