Mount Kisco officials have closed the Preston Way Bridge to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic today.
The village was ordered Wednesday to take the action by the New York state Department of Transportation.
The bridge is near North Bedford Road and Kisco Avenue. Crews are adding detour signs in the area to help drivers get around.
