- It's cool and calm this morning. Temperatures are in the 40s and 50s.
- We have another beautiful day ahead of us. Today will be mild and mostly sunny. Highs are in the 60s near 70 with lows in the 40s and 50s.
- It stays dry and comfortable through tomorrow with near seasonable temperatures in the 70s.
- The Autumnal Equinox officially begins tomorrow September 22nd at 2:19 p.m. On the Autumnal equinox, the sun crosses over the equator marking the start of astronomical Fall. This results in nearly equal day and night in the northern hemisphere.
- A frontal system will bring a chance of showers/storms on Tuesday evening into Wednesday. A secondary storm system moves in late this week bringing more rain chances. The rain is welcome as we're currently seeing abnormally dry conditions across the Long Island. It's still too soon to tell the exact impacts and timing with this storm. Stay tuned for updates!
