 Mortgage delinquencies across the country are surging to record highs.
Delinquencies among borrowers for past-due mortgages surged by 1.6 million in April, the largest single-month jump in history.
Over 3.6 million homeowners were past due on their mortgages at the end of April.
This includes the roughly 211,000 in foreclosure, which is the most since January 2015, according to mortgage data analytics company Black Knight.
