Monroe police officer praised for rescuing puppy from near-death experience

A Monroe police officer is being applauded for his efforts in saving a puppy from a near-death experience.
Officer Luisi responded to the scene where a trapped dog named Prince was unable to breathe after having his collar caught between the wooden slats of a ramp attached to the shed.
Prince was frantically shaking, making it difficult to release him, but Luisi worked calmly and quickly to free Prince from the ramp.
Prince immediately showered Luisi with puppy kisses of thanks and relief.
