A Yonkers woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to reckless endangerment after allegedly leaving her 8-year-old son home alone overnight.
Police arrested Michelle Hill, 29, outside her Burnshan Avenue apartment around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Police say her son called them and told them she left him inside around 8 p.m. Monday.
Police say they called her, and she returned home but was "evasive" in her answers when they asked where she'd been.
The judge told Hill that the excuse she gave for her absence was not acceptable.
She was released from custody, and is due back in court next month.
