State police say a 14-year-old girl was killed after being struck by two vehicles on the Garden State Parkway Thursday morning.

She had been missing from Chestnut Ridge. 

The accident happened southbound near Exit 171 in Montvale, not far from the Rockland County border.

Police say the girl entered the pathway of an unknown vehicle and was struck.

A Chevrolet Tahoe traveling behind that vehicle also struck her.

While the unknown vehicle continued traveling, the Tahoe’s driver contacted state police.
