A Greenburgh teenager who had been missing since Sunday was found safe in the Bronx.
Police said 15-year-old Treia Boozier ran off after getting into a fight with her mother while heading toward the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan. The girl then got out of the car and stormed off.
On Wednesday, a tip on social media led frantic family and friends to the Wakefield section of the Bronx, nearly 15 miles from where she was last seen. Boozier was spotted on video inside a Chinese restaurant on White Plains Road.
Boozier emerged from the Lavamax Laundry Center across the street at around 1 p.m. She was alone, wearing different clothing and stayed silent. The girl was embraced by loved ones before being whisked away by police.
Police said Boozier appeared to be unharmed, but they will continue their investigation to determine if any foul play was involved in her disappearance.
